From my childhood compassion and friendship for a refugee girl, to mentoring and inspiring others in the corporate world, and my studies of yoga and healing therapies, I have always been passionate about supporting and empowering others.
The most authentic experiences in my life have been those that aligned with my core values.Yet for a long time, I hid my spiritual beliefs from many around me. I worked in corporate finance management for 20 years, and felt that being openly spiritual was not valued in that world. Or perhaps, that is simply how I saw it.
Then in my 30s, life events led me to reconsider the way I was living and set me on a path of seeking something more. The end of my marriage, a work environment that challenged my core values and the huge and life-changing impact of the death of my father led me to the profound realisation that life is short and love is all that matters. I began to question whether I was truly living authentically and living a life of value.
So I left the corporate world and embarked on an intuitive journey, seeking answers and inspiration. I began in Tibet, and continued travelling, meeting people and having experiences that shaped my future direction, and studying a range of healing modalities in Vermont, USA.
Once back in Australia, I began my practice as a healing therapist and developed an interest in mental health, including the role of mental health in the overall well being of active duty military and veterans. As a qualified yoga instructor, I have studied how to specifically teach yoga and meditation to current and former military personnel and it is my intention to share my holistic healing work with this community, among others.
As the years have passed, I have come to appreciate that the spiritual gifts I have are meant to be shared. I may be one person, but I wholeheartedly believe that I can make a positive contribution to those I connect with. Not only am I passionate about healing others but most importantly, I continue to heal myself, going deeper and deeper, peeling back the layers of the onion, so that I can express my authentic truth and be the best therapist, healer and mentor I can be.
So this is me, Georgia, a true balance between down-to-earth practicality and a spiritual lightworker. I love working with men who are seeking support and healing, just as much as I love connecting with twin souls, starseeds, indigos and rainbow children.
